Position Overview:
- Assist the DSD in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the facility, its programs and activities.
- Serves the management team with the DSD.
- Monitors the use of services, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assesses the need for additional equipment, staff, and services.
- Act as directed by the DSD in providing support and communication between the DSD and other departments within the facility.
- Establishes performance goals and measures to evaluate the success of assigned areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and respect for, the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions
- High School graduate or better; CNA certification preferred
- At least one year of clerical experience, including filing.
- Experience as a medical records practitioner in skilled nursing or long-term care facility preferred
- Ability to type, calculate, and perform data entry skills
