Account Manager - Inside Sales

Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Riverhawk team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established local company and contribute to the success of the business through supporting the customers who depend on us for industrial supplies. As an Account Manager you will play a vital role in helping our customers quote and place orders and support customer requests related to their orders via phone and email interactions.

Key responsibilities for Account Managers:

- Support requests for quotes from customers which includes preparing quotes, incorporating feedback from customers and converting quotes to sales orders

- Research products for customers and ask appropriate questions to ensure we are helping them buy the right item

- Review inventory needs to fill orders and generate procurement orders for special non-stock items when needed

- Work with Account Executives to build strong relationships with accounts and foster growth

- Emphasis on serving existing customers; no cold calling

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to build rapport and relationships with customers

- Extremely detailed-oriented; able to capture and keep track of key information

- Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate to complete tasks

- Self-directed while demonstrating time management and multi-tasking skills

- Organized, flexible and able to appropriately prioritize competing priorities

- Sound decision making skills with the ability to navigate through ambiguity

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

- Strong technical skills with proficiency or the ability to become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Notion, Slack and Inform

- Team player who brings a positive attitude

Preferred qualifications:

- Demonstrated success in prior customer service, customer support or sales role

- Existing knowledge of industrial tools and consumables, metalworking, or welding

Requirements

A high school diploma is required and a four-year degree is preferred. Applicants must consent to a background check and drug screening. Physical requirements include lifting 25lbs., climbing ladders, and standing for long periods.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a non-commission based role, with the opportunity over time to earn more based on company and individual performance. The typical schedule will be Monday- Friday 8am-5pm at our Mulberry, FL location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
