Summary:
Manage retail staff, sales, operations, and merchandising functions for the Gold Dredge 8 Gift Shop. Oversee day-to-day operations, including supervising retail staff, gift shop leads, and warehouse associates. Perform routine administrative duties such as merchandise transfers, audits, tagging, and other assigned projects. Ensure efficient operations, strong sales performance, and a high standard of customer experience.
Schedule:
April through September 40 to 60 hours per week with overtime and weekends as needed. Preseason and post-season; occasional overtime may be necessary. Potential for off-season work October through May, depending on need.
Qualifications:
• 2–3 years of sales, supervisory, or related leadership experience
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of merchandising and display creation
• Ability to work long hours and/or flexible schedules in a seven-day operation
• Proficiency with computer systems, cash registers, and cash handling
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership
