Summary: The Intake Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for
potential clients and referral sources, ensuring timely responses and
accurate documentation. This role manages intake forms, verifies
insurance, and collaborates with the Billing Office, while also
Supporting Reporting And Administrative Needs. Key Responsibilities
Responds to all calls from potential clients and referral sources on a
daily basis or within 24-hours of the call. Documents all calls that
come in to Central Intake and make recommendations for referral to
another facility when appropriate. Access to information and referral
materials will be provided. Completes all Initial Contact Forms and
checks insurance eligibility and authorizations in collaboration with
the Billing Office. Provides reporting, statistics and other data to
staff and management as requested. Assist administrative department in
projects as needed. Qualifications: Required: A High School diploma or
GED. 1-2 years\' experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant
or other office work. A commitment to customer service and client
contact is required. Experience in human services or working in a
physician\'s office preferred Bilingual. Attentive to details and
