We are seeking a Maintenance Director for our skilled nursing facility in Bluffton, IN!
The Maintenance Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing the overall operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring the facility is maintained efficiently, safely, cleanly, and comfortably for residents, staff, and visitors.
Shift: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the facility and department are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner, and that all necessary equipment and supplies are operational to support required duties and services.
- Maintain sufficient levels of supplies, disinfectants, equipment, and other materials to provide a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure that environmental services personnel understand and adhere to Universal Precautions, established safety rules, fire and disaster procedures, and departmental policies while performing daily tasks.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor and confirm that environmental services staff are performing required duties and that appropriate procedures are being followed to meet facility standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred.
- Medical or long-term care experience is desirable.
