What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at River Run Solutions?
River Run Solutions is looking for a reliable and motivated General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position focused on keeping our fleet and equipment in excellent working condition through routine maintenance and minor repairs.
You do not need to be ASE certified or hold formal mechanic certifications. We're looking for someone with mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Pay
$20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform routine oil changes
- Replace oil, air, and fuel filters
- Complete brake inspections and brake replacements
- Repair and replace vehicle and trailer lights
- Perform trailer maintenance and repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
- Inspect vehicles and trailers for safety and maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance records up to date
- Maintain a clean and organized shop
Qualifications
- Mechanical experience preferred, but certification is not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle and trailer maintenance
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license required
