RN Supervisor
Job Summary:
River Ridge Living Center, an upscale and gracious setting, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As an RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervising our staff. Responsibilities:
Supervisor staffing for the shift and participate in staff reviews
Make rounds on all units, review reports with the charge nurse, and check on residents listed on the report
Ensure that resident comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy are maintained
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants
Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.
Qualifications:
Valid RN license for NYS
Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Excellent knowledge of emergency care
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to always follow them
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsible and compassionate
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent problem-solving skills required
