What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA (Weekend Warrior) position at River Ridge Living Center?
We are recruiting for dedicated and skilled C.N.As for our Weekend Baylor Shifts.
Available Shifts:
Weekends (6a-2p; 2p-10p; or 10p-6a)
Work Saturday and Sunday every other weekend – work 15 hours and get paid for 18.75 hours.
As a Nursing Assistant, you will support patients and assist with their daily activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Help patients with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Collect and document medical information and patient history.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
Other assigned duties
Requirements
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Must have basic computer skills
Must have N.Y.S. Approved C.N.A Certification
Must have two years of previous experience
Experience in LTC preferred
Ability to work as part of a team
