Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays for maximum appeal
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and accurate register operations
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Supervise team members when needed, providing guidance on customer service standards and sales techniques
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked to provide a seamless shopping experience
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures for smooth transactions
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and inventory management
- Effective communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over calls or online chats
- Basic math skills necessary for daily operations involving cash handling and transactions
- Must be able to lift over 50lbs consistently
- Proficient in Microsoft Offic Suite
