Director of Pre K Counts
Full Time | $60,000 - $65,000

We are looking for a Director of Pre K Counts who is passionate about bringing the best out in kids, connecting to our community and having fun!
What is needed to be a Director of Pre K Counts:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Human Services or related field. Teacher certification is highly preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of Pre K Counts is required
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in Child Care programming including administration.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with children in a professional child care setting; ages 2-6
The responsibilities we will trust you with as Director of Pre K Counts:
- Facilitating the execution of a successful Pre K Counts program, including the interviewing, hiring and training of staff, adherence to practices which lead to a high quality experience, instilling curriculum, and parent engagement
- Fiscal management for the facility
- Identify and use data to inform service design and benchmark service levels to serve children
- Direct service in classrooms as required
- Assist with DHS compliance and licensing policies and procedures
