Rivendell Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Long-Term Substitute Art Teacher to provide art instruction for students in grades 612. The successful candidate will inspire creativity while teaching artistic techniques, art history, and critical thinking in a supportive learning environment.Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons for grades 612.Teach a variety of artistic media and techniques.Assess student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success.Serve as co-advisor for a small group of ninth-grade students.Qualifications: Minimum of one year of teaching or related instructional experience.Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.Preferred: New Hampshire teaching license with a Visual Arts endorsement (or eligibility for licensure).Assignment dates: October 5 - December 18, 2026
