Rivendell Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Long-Term Substitute Art Teacher to provide art instruction for students in grades 6–12. The successful candidate will inspire creativity while teaching artistic techniques, art history, and critical thinking in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons for grades 6–12.
Teach a variety of artistic media and techniques.
Assess student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success.
Serve as co-advisor for a small group of ninth-grade students.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of teaching or related instructional experience.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred: New Hampshire teaching license with a Visual Arts endorsement (or eligibility for licensure).
