Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, comfortable with early morning start times, and able to handle both driving and loading/unloading responsibilities.
We are hiring ASAP and looking for someone who can start right away. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to transport and deliver goods
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate pallet jacks during loading and unloading
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently and adjust to changing traffic, delivery conditions, or schedules
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
- Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company procedures and applicable safety requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably operating a 26-ft box truck or similar vehicle
- Experience with route driving and navigation preferred
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and load/unload deliveries
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
- Must be willing and able to work early mornings
- Must be able to pass a background check
Immediate availability is preferred. Training will be provided.
Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
