Medical Assistant (2 Part-Time and 1 Full-Time Position Available)
Rittenhouse Internal Medicine – Philadelphia, PA (Rittenhouse Square)
Rittenhouse Internal Medicine is seeking one full-time Medical Assistant to support our providers in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice. Availability on evenings from 1:00 PM–8:00 PM is required. Practice Overview
We are a women’s primary care and gynecology practice located in a beautiful office in the prestigious Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. Our team is committed to exceptional patient care, taking the time to get to know our patients while fostering an inclusive, caring, and professional environment.
Office Hours
- Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Position Requirements
- Full-time position
- Required availability: Monday & Wednesday evenings, 1:00 PM–8:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients and charts for visits
- Entering and updating patient data in medical charts
- Performing clinical tasks including vitals, venipuncture, immunizations, IM injections
- Assisting with gynecological and in-office surgical procedures
- Performing EKGs and giving vaccinations
- Assisting providers with chart review and patient follow-up
- Answering calls from patients, pharmacies, and outside providers
- Providing patient education regarding vaccine side effects and post-procedure care
- Maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the office
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, legal regulations, and HIPAA requirements
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience.
