Compensation: $25 – $30 per hour.

Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tile Flooring Installer to support high‑quality flooring installations across a variety of commercial projects. The Tile Flooring Installer is responsible for installing multiple flooring types, preparing surfaces, ensuring accuracy and durability, and maintaining a safe and professional jobsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install various commercial tile systems including ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic, and specialty materials
• Perform floor preparation tasks such as patching, leveling, waterproofing, crack isolation, and underlayment installation
• Mix, apply, and work with thinset, grout, mortar beds, and specialty adhesives
• Ensure installations meet company standards for layout, accuracy, and long‑term durability
• Execute precise layout work including straight‑edge alignment, pattern matching, and complex cuts
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring correctness and cost‑effective execution
• Arrive on time and ready to work at assigned job sites
• Follow instructions and communicate clearly with field leaders
• Cooperate with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed
• Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner
• Maintain a productive workflow with minimal downtime
• Inspect completed work and report any issues to the Field Leader or Superintendent
• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions
• Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and jobsite conditions
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support project success

Qualifications

• Proficiency with flooring tools, materials, and installation techniques
• Experience with tile cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing
• Basic knowledge of substrate leveling, waterproofing, and surface preparation
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurements accurately
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional in demeanor
• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools (power and specialty tools provided)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and ladder climbing
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Travel Requirements

• Reliable transportation required to travel between job sites
