We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, our knowledgeable staff, and our extensive product line to accommodate any budget.
We are looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to help with day to day warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include lifting and storing materials, picking, packing and checking orders, and delivering materials to jobsites. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, deliver)
- Make product deliveries via company vehicle (truck, box truck, van)
- General repair and maintenance of the warehouse
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize available space
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damage
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Miscellaneous warehouse help as needed
Requirements
- Proven working experience in a warehouse setting
- Forklift Experience helpful but not necessary
- Valid Driver's License
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (40 pounds) repeatedly
- Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to the Traverse City area
