What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at RITE-WAY CONSTRUCTION LLC?
Requirements:
. Skilled heavy equipment operators with verifiable experience running either some or all of the following equipment: Grader, Dozer, Track hoe, Front-end Loader, Backhoe, Trackhoe, Forklift, Telehandler, Skid Steer, Dozer, Brushog and Ditcher
. Unload equipment from vehicles safely
. Knowledge of the machine settings
. Maintain equipment functionality often
. Keep performance record(s) of machine functionality regularly
. Provide preemptive maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunction
. Pre trip and post trip inspections/evaluations of the equipment
. Will be do manual labor
. Attend all Safety meeting and JSA meetings as required
. Will keep machinery clean and free of trash
Hand and foot coordination, good communication skills, both oral and written, ability to work as a team, strong critical thinking ability, high attention to detail, ability to make decisions that prevent accidents and damage to property. Physical ability to work in a strenuous work environment and strength to operate heavy equipment and decision-making abilities.

. Must pass the background check, drug screen/physical
. Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
. Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary
. Must be able to work overtime when required
. Must be able to perform physical tasks, such as bending, standing, crouching, shoveling, etc.
. Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures
