Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Operator role located in Oklahoma city, OK. The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a variety of heavy machinery for excavation, grading, land clearing, and site preparation, ensuring safe and efficient workflows. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment before and after use, performing basic maintenance, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues. The role involves following project plans, working with supervisors to complete assigned tasks, and coordinating with other crew members to move materials and maintain clean, organized work areas. The operator is expected to follow company safety policies, comply with local regulations, and adapt to changing job site conditions and project needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Heavy Equipment and Equipment Operation, including loaders, dozers, excavators, or similar machinery.
- Practical knowledge of Excavation methods and site preparation, with the ability to read basic site plans or instructions.
- Skills in Equipment Maintenance, including routine inspections, minor repairs, and proper use of used equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift or move materials as required by the job.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to and from job sites in and around Oklahoma city, OK.
