What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Contract Development Business Manager position at Rite of Passage?
The Senior Contract Development Business Manager works as a member of the Business Department team. This role will provide unified leadership across contracting, network enrollment, rate oversight, Referral Management System accuracy, AR support, and payor communications. The Senior Network Development Business Manager will directly oversee the Credentialing Manager and provide dotted-line leadership to the Business Manager, ensuring consistency and accountability across all systems and processes. The Primary Partnerships for the position include: Contracting, Payor Relations, Facility Business Offices, Corporate Finance, Business Development Teams.
What you will do:Contract Execution & Payor Network Management:
Distribute and oversee authorized contracts.
Coordinate with referral sources and payor contracting teams.
Facilitate enrollment into payor networks.
Track and update out-of-state contracts.
Communicate directly with payors regarding rates and procedures.
Revenue Protection & Billing Support
Support AR challenges related to contracted placements.
Review CMS-1500 and UB-04 billing documents.
Support payor portal claims submissions.
Strategic Decision-Making & Organizational Support
Participate in rate negotiations aligned to facility fiscal goals.
Support corporate month-end and quarterly reporting.
Maintain organizational Billing Guide and documentation.
Leadership & Collaboration
Manage Credentialing Manager.
Provide additional training to Business Manager.
Ensure confidentiality and operational continuity limiting points of failure.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in related field.
Experience in business operations and management.
Supervisory Experience Required.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures.
Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
