What you’ll do:
- Collect and submit education KPI data.
- Facilitate and organize education activities.
- Attend school leadership meetings and disseminate information across departments.
- Identify staffing and classroom coverage in the absence of the educator.
- Responsible education compliance.
- Draft and submit reports for external and internal customers.
- Represent education in MDT, leadership meetings, etc.
- Coach teachers on instructional delivery, academic rigor, etc.
- Support and be a resource for ROP education initiatives at the site.
- Implements the Clinical Supervision of Instruction and the effective delivery of Target Teaching.
- Evaluates educational staff on the delivery of instruction and student assessment.
- Manages the special education process and staff to ensure compliance.
- Supports the site’s Professional Learning Community process by consistently communicating relevant information, leading the process and preparing for PLC activities.
- Implements the Educational Advocacy process; ensures that all students have a PLP, Post Secondary Plan, teachers are tracking, monitoring and reporting PLP progress and there is a consistency in Educational Advocacy procedures.
- When responsible for CTE staff, evaluates vocational programs, supervises instructors and implements vocational programming that aligns with current Career and Technical Educational programs.
- Coordinates staff days off and collaborates with Group Living to ensure classroom coverage and/or arranges for a substitute.
**NOTE: this is a year round school operating on a rolling enrollment basis. Intersession breaks are scheduled quarterly***
To be considered, you should:
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
- Possess a current State teaching credential from the state in which employed.
- Successful administrative experience in developing curriculum, fostering a healthy work environment to stimulate a positive and productive workplace.

Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise education staff and projects.
Have 3 or more years successful classroom teaching experience.
- Have related experience working with at-risk youth
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Experience
Required- 3 year(s): Possesses a current and valid State teaching credential; 3 years of classroom teaching experience
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Education or related field
