Sycamore Canyon Academy is a unique therapeutic and educational community located in the heart of Oracle, Arizona. Our campus is a sanctuary where students and staff can connect with nature. We have extensive trails all maintained to provide a safe and enriching environment for learning and growth. Sycamore Canyon empowers at risk youth to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. We achieve this through a holistic approach that combines accredited education, therapeutic services, and immersive outdoor experiences. As a ORR Program Manager you play a key role in shaping the future of our students. You will have the opportunity to lead outdoor activities, assist in developing innovative programs, and make a lasting impact in a supportive community-focused environment. What you will do: The Group Supervisor exercises considerable independent judgment and authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both students and staff in order to meet expectations of the services provided. The Group Supervisor exercises direct control and direction over subordinate staff such as Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, Night Coach Counselors, transportation, etc. as assigned in the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. The Group Supervisor's duties include participation and authority in decisions involving processes to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees and program delivery.
To be considered you should: High School diploma or equivalent~ Supervisory experience preferred~ Bilingual in Spanish and English ~1 year of experience working with youth in a child welfare or agency~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: A Shift Sunday to Every other Wednesday from 8a-8p
