Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions
• Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services such as immunizations, pain management, and medication therapy management (MTM) consultations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including medical management strategies
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient service
• Maintain detailed documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
• Ensure pharmaceutical regulatory compliance by staying current with drug regulation policies, HIPAA guidelines, and pharmacy practice standards

Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to practice as a licensed pharmacist with valid state licensure; experience practicing in community or hospital pharmacies preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare providers
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS).
• Familiarity with drug regulation policies, pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards, and healthcare compliance protocols such as HIPAA
• Ability to manage pharmacy operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of clinical confidentiality policies
• Experience managing pharmacy teams effectively in fast-paced environments focused on patient care excellence
