We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to support our client’s healthcare operations in New York. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pharmacy dispensing systems, sterile processing, IV room procedures, and familiarity with EMR systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory requirements
• Oversee sterile processing and maintain IV room standards to ensure safe medication preparation
• Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems for accurate record-keeping and workflow management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to review medication orders and ensure appropriate therapy
• Maintain patient records and medication histories in the EMR system
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems, sterile processing, IV room procedures, and EMR systems (preferred)
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) – Primary Source Verification required
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records
• Knowledge of USP <797> and <800> standards
