Rita's Italian Ice is a fast-growing frozen dessert brand known for delivering a fun, high-energy guest experience. Our goal is simple: create smiles through great service and amazing treats.
We are opening four stores in the greater DFW area this summer, with our first location being in North Richland Hills. We are looking for a hands-on Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations and help grow the business in the local community.
Position Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overall store operations, including team leadership, customer experience, financial performance, and local marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to grow with a new business.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily store operations (opening/closing, cleanliness, product quality)
- Lead, train, and manage team members, shift leaders, and assistant managers
- Ensure all Rita’s standards for product consistency and guest experience are met
Financial & Administrative
- Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and POS reporting
- Control labor, inventory, and cost of goods
- Complete weekly reporting and payroll submissions
Staffing & Training
- Hire, onboard, and schedule staff
- Maintain accountability and performance standards across the team
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Inventory & Production
- Manage inventory levels and place weekly orders
- Oversee ice production and minimize waste
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Execute local store marketing (LSM) initiatives
- Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups
- Support catering and event opportunities
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cash handling preferred
- Flexible availability (including nights and weekends)
