Rita's Home Care Agency in Pittsburgh is hiring reliable Personal Care Assistants, Personal Aides or caregivers to join their team! Working with our team will give you the opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life and in our community.
We Service the following areas: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland.
Responsibilities may include:
Personal care services - assists with:
- Bath (tub, shower or bed)
- Oral hygiene
- Grooming and care of hair
- Ordinary care of nails
- Routine skin care/ lotion massage
- Positioning and turning patents as needed
- Help with incontinence as needed
- Assist with eating, dressing walking and toileting
- Remind Consumer to take self-administered medications
Homemaking - assists with:
- Meal planning and preparation in accordance with complex and modified diets
- Feeding
- Linen change (occupied and unoccupied)
- Laundry, Consumer’s only
- Light housekeeping; washing dishes, clean kitchen, dust & vacuum, only those rooms the Consumer uses.
- List needed supplies and grocery shopping
Qualifications
- Speaks, reads, and writes Spanish (a must) and English.
- 2 verifiable references
- Physical Exam & 2 Step TB -Test
- Ability to pass a criminal history check
- Ability to pass a child abuse clearance
- Must be reliable, compassionate and willing to help others.
- Must have reliable transportation
