Rita's Hospitality Group is looking to add an experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our team. We are a family-owned business, and we are looking to grow our family with you.
Known for scratch cooking, excellent presentation, and impeccable service, Rita's Catering is the premier choice in the Boston-Metro and surrounding area.
Position Overview: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for planning and selling day-to-day orders and events to exceed guest expectations, while providing the high level of customer service that Rita’s is known for.
The ideal candidate will develop existing business and solicit new business through catering leads, marketing strategies, referrals, tastings, and face to face meetings, while maintaining overall company profits.
Essential Job Functions:
The Catering Sales Manager will act as a liaison between the client and the operations/culinary team to ensure a success. Communicating all needs and working directly with our event coordinator.
Plan menus and logistics for corporate, day to day leads and social events.
Be an informed specialist on current catering trends and products.
Menu innovation, and awareness to allergies
Track and manage event deposits and payments, accurate communication of event administrative details to the support staff
Utilized reporting informed data to track adjustments to invoicing and implement customer follow-up and feedback to improve overall sales offerings.
Provide timely written or electronic thank you and feedback solicitation
Requirements:
Motivation for sales measured by sales goals- individually and team oriented
Business Development skills, Market Knowledge, Food & Beverage Knowledge
Caterease proficient
MS Outlook, Word, and Excel proficient
Other Skills/Abilities:
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation, selling to customers’ needs and closing skills
Must have offsite catering experience
Strong catering language and understanding
Ability to work closely with multiple departments
Must have Catering Experience
Must go off site, oversee event staff and event status.
