RIST/AMA is looking for a Local P D, Class A driver in WESTBROOK, ME to serve our customers in local pick-ups and deliveries, in a safe and timely manner.
NEW HIGHER RATES! – HOME DAILY!
All General Freight including hazmat. $32.55 per hour. Home Daily, Monday to Friday, Weekends off.
OT after 40 hours.
After 6 months, eligible for an additional $3 an hour for safe driving
Description of Job:
1. Drivers must be reliable and on time.
2. Drivers must be knowledgeable about equipment and must be expert in handling their equipment. Driving ability must be above reproach.
3. Review and complete necessary paperwork resolve any problems or questions and verify dispatch before departure.
4. Pre-trip equipment to meet standard of Company and DOT regulations.
5. Load and deliver loads in a prompt and courteous manner, adhering to customer and State requirements.
6. Adhere to all safety policies.
7. Drivers must maintain a professional appearance at all times. This would include personal appearance, proper dress, cleanliness, and neatness.
8. Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and management.
