Our team is looking for an experienced Attorney to support a high-volume medical malpractice defense practice in Florida. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on deep legal analysis, critical thinking, and strong written advocacy.
In this role, you will:
• Independently take depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses
• Draft substantive legal memoranda (motions, responses, replies) requiring advanced analytical reasoning
• Conduct in-depth legal research and translate complex medical/legal issues into clear, persuasive arguments
• Analyze medical records, expert reports, and deposition transcripts with precision
• Collaborate on case strategy with lead counsel
• Handle discovery and client communications, including deposition summaries
What we’re looking for:
✔️ Active Florida Bar admission
✔️ 5 years of litigation experience
✔️ Proven ability to independently take depositions
✔️ Exceptional writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills
✔️ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred experience:
• High-volume defense litigation environment
• Medical negligence claims
• Drafting motions for summary judgment, Daubert challenges/responses
