Role Overview
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2 years of post-qualification experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, reconciliations, and support US GAAP reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in general ledger management.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and review day-to-day Journal Entries (JEs) in accordance with accounting standards
- Perform Flux (variance) analysis and provide commentary on key movements
- Reconcile Indian GAAP (IGAAP) books with US GAAP reporting requirements
- Process and record Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
- Handle bank documentation related to export of services, including compliance requirements
- Support preparation and review of Income Statement and Balance Sheet
- Conduct analysis and reconciliations, as required
- Assist with audits and reporting requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Solid knowledge of GL accounting, financial statements, and reconciliations
- Experience with journal entries and variance analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
