Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong manufacturing support expertise to join a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming complex CNC machines and supporting shop floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or similar software platforms.
- Program 3, 4, and 5-axis machines including:
- VMC
- VBM
- VTL
- HBM
- HMC
- EDM (Wire, Sinker, Fast Hole)
- Work with Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls.
- Verify and validate CNC programs prior to shop floor release using Vericut.
- Utilize advanced machine tool controls including:
- Macro/Sub-routine programming
- Renishaw probing routines
- Variable-based programming
- Closed Loop Machining (CLM)
- Provide CNC-related technical support to Manufacturing Engineers and machine operators.
- Deliver training to operators, programmers, and engineering teams as needed.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining issues on the shop floor.
- Collaborate effectively in both individual and team-oriented environments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and adapt effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Solid shop math knowledge including geometry and trigonometry.
- Experience machining high-temperature superalloys used in aerospace or heavy-duty gas turbine components.
- Hands-on experience in CNC programming, machining processes, and manufacturing support.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed and collaborative work environment.

- Experience in aerospace, turbine, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to advanced CNC automation and process optimization techniques.
