Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated assistant teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The selected candidate will work closely with a lead Montessori teacher, assisting in the instruction and support of a mixed-aged classroom. This position is Monday through Friday, and the school day is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting in August and concluding in May.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead Montessori teacher in implementing the Montessori Method within the classroom setting.

Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and execute engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Support student learning and development through individualized and small-group instruction.

Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning.

Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:

Preferred Montessori certification from an accredited institution for early childhood and/or elementary levels.

Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a strong commitment to Montessori teaching.

Comprehensive understanding of child development, classroom management, and curriculum planning.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability.
