The Human Resources Specialist supports all aspects of the employee lifecycle by assisting with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, personnel records, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations. This position maintains confidential employee records, conducts background and reference checks, coordinates new hire orientation, supports payroll and benefits administration, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and school regulations.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining HR databases, tracking employee evaluations and certifications, assisting with recruitment events, preparing reports and correspondence, supporting audits, updating employee handbooks and organizational charts, and coordinating employee recognition and special events.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, maintains strict confidentiality, possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- An Associate's degree in a related field is required
