Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and needs of the children.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Engage children in hands-on activities that promote early intervention, childhood development, and social skills
- Collaborate with families and colleagues to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or additional support
- Conduct regular assessments using standardized testing techniques to monitor progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly
- Manage daily routines such as diapering, potty training, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play while ensuring child welfare and safety standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child progress, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with childcare regulations and educational standards
Experience (Will Train)
- Prior classroom experience working with children aged two years old in daycare or preschool settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques
- Experience developing curriculum content that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori methods
- Familiarity with working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is a plus
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and team members
- Previous experience in private school or daycare environments that emphasize child welfare and developmental milestones is advantageous
- Knowledge of teaching physical education activities and implementing classroom routines to foster a positive learning atmosphere
