- This position is for afternoon hours only, must be able to work Monday-Friday from 2PM-6PM.
- Assist the Childcare Director in overseeing daily program operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff
- Support curriculum planning and implementation that promotes early childhood development and learning through engaging activities
- Coordinate staff schedules, supervise team members, and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities
- Communicate effectively with parents and families to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
- Assist in maintaining accurate records related to attendance, incident reports, and program documentation
- Contribute to creating an inclusive atmosphere that encourages diversity, creativity, and positive social interactions among children
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education or related fields
- Proven experience in education administration or managing childcare programs

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to lead a team, foster collaboration, and support staff development
- Knowledge of licensing requirements, health standards, and safety protocols applicable to childcare settings
