Rising Starr Horse Rescue Corp is a 501C3 non for profit, we are a horse rescue and training facility located in Wilton CT and South Salem, NY
We are looking to add a riding instructor for begineer and intermediate riders of all ages. We have a IEA Team and are National 2025 and 2026 AEL Champions. Rising Stars"s lesson horses are exceptional.
Opportunity to gain experience in a multifaceted environment that offers clinics, horse shows, winter/summer programs and various Fundraising events (Starry Night Gala, Paint & Sip, Annual Halloween Spooktacular, we are the featured opening day at The Hampton Classic Horse Show). There is potential for growth at this expanding facility and our new Sanctuary in VA that also rescues and rehabilitates horses.
We are seeking an experienced Riding Instructor/Trainer. We are looking for an individual that wants to make a difference in horses and people’s lives. This is a position that will grow and is long term
Providing riding lessons (based on experience). Must feel comfortable handling green horses, unbroke horses, abused horses. Knowledge in the round pen is gentling horses.
Skills: equine facility management, experience handling and caring for equines, team player, highly organized with effective communication skills, reliable, attends work as scheduled, mature, dependable, and responsible.
