Role Description | The Staff Accountant is a part time hybrid role based in the Tempe, AZ. This position has two primary pillars. One is quality assurance/internal support. The majority of the backend work on Quickbooks is done by our bookkeeping team - they do quality work, but sometimes situations arise that are outside the ordinary and require some escalation to figure out. Pillar two is client success. It isn't just being able to build and understand the financial statements, it's also being able to provide insights and explain them to the clients in a way that helps them plan for their future success. The quality assurance and the client meetings are currently all handled by our founder. We have reached the point where we need someone to take on some of those higher level tasks with a high level of ownership, and ideally wants to grow with the firm.
