Position Summary:
The Technology Innovation Intern will support the exploration and development of AI-driven solutions within the homebuilding organization. This role offers hands-on experience in learning and applying AI agent methodologies, building intelligent agents, and contributing to the underlying technology infrastructure that supports them. The intern will work closely with business and technical teams to align AI capabilities with real-world homebuilding needs, helping to identify opportunities where AI can enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
The program will be in session from June 8 β July 31 and based in Irvine, CA.
Job Duties:
General Responsibilities:
- Explore approaches to creating an AI agent and share findings with team members.
- Research leading AI Agent platforms to understand current Technology approaches.
- Create working proof of concept demonstrating an AI Agent's ability to assess and complete work.
Learning Opportunities:
- Connect with leading Business & Technical organizations with modern discussions on AI and staying current with the changes that happen every day.
- Gain an understanding of leading software, tools, and technologies to achieve these projects.
- Exposure to internal teams, their current challenges, and real-world discussions and decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in technology, information systems, or similar preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively to identify, implement, and iterate on an agent design for a function within the organization.
- Familiarity with emerging technology and AI methodologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Special Projects:
Interns will actively participate in projects within their team and department, contributing to real business initiatives throughout the program. In addition, each intern will be responsible for completing a final project at the end of the internship, showcasing the skills, knowledge, and insights they have gained, as well as highlighting their contributions to the organization.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $20.00, with wages paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary position. Requires the ability to hear, type and talk. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. The primary work location is a corporate office with low to moderate noise levels. Appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
