Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auto Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and enhancing the appearance of vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service, with opportunities to develop skills in various detailing techniques. Prior experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The Auto Detailer will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for high-quality vehicle care.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles including washing, vacuuming, and interior detailing
- Use buffing and polishing tools to restore vehicle paint and surfaces
- Apply window tinting and other cosmetic enhancements as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored
- Assist with additional janitorial or custodial tasks to support overall shop cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded
- Drive vehicles safely within the facility or designated areas during the detailing process
Qualifications
- Previous experience in car wash, detailing, custodial, or janitorial work preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuums safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license preferred for moving vehicles within the facility or for off-site services
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
