Rise & Tone Pilates Studio is seeking passionate, reliable, and energetic instructors to join our growing team in Englewood, NJ.
We are hiring instructors for our Classical Mat Pilates, Barre, and Sculpt class formats, offered in both heated and non-heated settings.
At Rise & Tone, we believe a great class goes beyond the workout. We are looking for instructors who can create a welcoming, motivating, and safe environment while helping clients build strength, confidence, and body awareness.
Our instructors should be comfortable teaching clients of all levels, providing thoughtful modifications and corrections, and creating an experience where every client feels seen and supported.
Duties
- Lead engaging Classical Mat Pilates, Barre, and/or Sculpt classes based on your training and certifications
- Teach both heated and non-heated classes as scheduled
- Demonstrate exercises with clear instruction, proper form, and attention to alignment
- Move throughout the room and remain attentive to clients throughout class
- Provide supportive verbal and hands-on corrections when appropriate
- Offer modifications and progressions for different fitness levels and abilities
- Encourage proper form, body awareness, control, and safe movement
- Create a fun, positive, motivating, and focused class environment
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to teach
- Maintain a clean and organized studio
- Build genuine connections with clients and contribute to the Rise & Tone community
- Follow Rise & Tone's class formats, safety standards, and teaching expectations
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification or training in Classical Mat Pilates, Barre, Sculpt, or group fitness, depending on the format you will be teaching
- Strong understanding of alignment, body mechanics, and safe movement
- Previous teaching or group fitness experience
- CPR/AED certification is highly preferred
- Ability to confidently lead a group while providing individualized attention
- Comfortable providing corrections, modifications, and encouragement
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable teaching in a heated studio environment
- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive fitness experience
