In this role you will lead mechanical design projects end-to-end, producing BOMs and drawings, completing tolerance analysis, supporting fixtures and NPI, and providing sustaining engineering support. You’ll work across plastics, structural metals and mechanisms, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

The Role:
- Lead mechanical design of X-ray and chemical detection products (handheld to cargo-scale systems)
- Own designs from concept to production (BOMs, drawings, tolerance analysis, fixtures, NPI, sustaining)
- Work across plastics, metals and mechanisms; provide mentorship to junior engineers
- On-site position based in Burlington, MA
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Strong SolidWorks experience; exposure to robotic/mechatronic systems
- US Citizen or Green Card holder, able to work on-site in Burlington, MA
