In this role you will act as the mechanical system architect, lead NPI and trade studies, engage suppliers, and drive designs from concept into production and sustaining support, while setting mechanical standards and mentoring engineers.
This role would suit a Principal Mechanical Engineer who wants technical ownership, influence over strategy and standards, and long-term development on complex electro-mechanical products.
The Role:
- Serve as mechanical system architect for major detection and imaging product platforms
- Own designs from concept through sustaining, including NPI, trade studies and supplier engagement
- Set mechanical standards, mentor engineers, and influence technical roadmaps
- On-site position in Burlington, MA with some travel required
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Experience with shipped products and hands-on mechanical design leadership
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
