This role would suit a Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector or Quality Technician from a machining, job shop, or development manufacturing environment with strong first article inspection and dimensional inspection experience.
The Role:
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and dimensional inspections on precision-machined components
- Create and process FAIR data packages and inspection documentation
- Generate NCR reports and identify quality defects
- Review inspection reports, contracts, and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance
- Use precision measuring equipment and calibrated gauges to inspect parts
- Monday-Friday, 1st shift with flexible start times
The Person:
- Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, or Quality Technician background
- Strong first article inspection (FAI) and NCR reporting experience
- Experience within machining, manufacturing, job shop, or development manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or other precision manufacturing industry experience
- Experience using precision measurement equipment and gauges
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
