Are you from an Electronics, Instrumentation, or Laboratory background looking to move into a field service role with a specialist company that offers full training, varied work, and the opportunity to develop specialist technical skills?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business within the scientific instrumentation sector. You'll receive hands-on training on specialist analytical equipment while supporting customers across a variety of laboratory, environmental, and industrial applications.

In this role, you'll split your time between the company's Pittsburgh facility and customer sites across the US. You'll install, service, troubleshoot, and repair specialist equipment, provide both remote and on-site technical support, and carry out preventative maintenance and customer training.

No previous field service experience is required – full product training will be provided from day one.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in electronics, instrumentation, or laboratory equipment who is looking to build a long-term career in field service.

The Role:

• Install, service, maintain, and repair specialist analytical equipment
• Diagnose faults and provide remote and on-site technical support
• Carry out preventative maintenance and customer training
• Travel throughout the US approximately 40-50% of the time (all expenses paid)
• Receive comprehensive product training from day one

The Person:

• Background in electronics, instrumentation, or laboratory equipment
• Fault finding and problem solving skills
• Comfortable with regular travel throughout the US
• Valid driver’s license
• Based within a commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA
