Are you a CNC Setup Machinist looking to work on high-precision components with modern equipment, while progressing into programming?
This is a stable, dayshift role where you'll take ownership of full setups on mills and lathes, with clear training and progression into CNC programming.
The company is an industry-leading manufacturer, well known for looking after their people and promoting from within. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to add a CNC Setup Machinist to their team.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist with lathe or milling experience, looking to join a company they can grow with long term.
The Role:
- Performing full setups and operating CNC mills and lathes
- Fabricating high precision machined parts
- Verifying parts using precision measuring equipment
- Performing quality tests and operational checks
- Monday-Friday, days shift (6:00am – 2:30pm)
- Lots of overtime available at 1.5x
The Person:
- Proven CNC experience
- Able to perform full set ups of machines
- Lathe experience highly desirable (milling experience considered with training provided on lathes)
- Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
