Position Summary
As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized treatment plans designed to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
No prior ABA experience is required. We provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals who are passionate about helping others succeed.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs developed by a BCBA
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support using evidence-based ABA strategies
- Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, toileting, feeding, and hygiene when appropriate
- Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and document client progress
- Follow behavior intervention plans and utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with supervising BCBAs and caregivers to support treatment goals
- Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential practices in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Child Development, or related field preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and receive feedback
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Ability to physically engage with active children, including sitting on the floor, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to ensure client safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Experience with ABA therapy
- Experience in childcare, education, behavioral health, or special education settings

Pay
$17.00 β $19.00 per hour for Behavior Technicians (BTs). Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are eligible for higher compensation, with pay commensurate with education, experience, certification status, and relevant skills.
