Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors, progress, and treatment outcomes to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other essential self-care skills.
- Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies to promote communication, social skills, and behavioral management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across settings.
- Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, medical records management, and behavior management techniques.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies within a special education framework.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling sensitive medical documentation securely.
- Compassionate patient care approach combined with effective behavior management skills.
