Rise and Renewal Recovery Foundation is a nonprofit, NARR-certified all Men’s recovery residence dedicated to providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Our mission is to provide stable housing, accountability, and peer support while fostering long-term recovery.
Position Summary
Rise and Renewal Recovery Foundation is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Live-In House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our recovery residence. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment while ensuring residents follow house policies and expectations.
The House Manager serves as a positive role model, supports residents in maintaining accountability, and helps create a structured environment that promotes recovery.
This is a required live-in position. Housing is provided as part of the compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Live on-site and provide daily oversight of the recovery residence.
- Enforce house rules, policies, and resident agreements consistently and professionally.
- Conduct resident orientations for new admissions.
- Monitor resident compliance with curfews, chores, recovery meeting attendance, and other program expectations.
- Conduct random room inspections and drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with program policies.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and help de-escalate conflicts.
- Facilitate or assist with weekly house meetings.
- Communicate regularly with program leadership regarding resident concerns, maintenance issues, and operational needs.
- Help ensure the home remains clean, organized, safe, and welcoming.
- Foster a respectful, recovery-oriented community culture.
- Maintain boundaries with residents
- Ability to attend meetings with state officials and certifying agencies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous recovery from substance use required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working in recovery, behavioral health, human services, residential programs, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and serve as a positive role model.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Basic computer skills, including email and documentation.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Schedule
- Live-in position (required).
- Full-time with evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight availability as needed.
- The House Manager is expected to reside on-site and be available to respond to resident needs and emergencies outside of regular business hours while maintaining appropriate personal time in accordance with organizational policies.
