- Provide peer support services to individuals with mental health conditions, including crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy
- Encourage and facilitate peer-to-peer connections among individuals with similar experiences and backgrounds
- Offer emotional support, guidance, and resources to help individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support services to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in peer support or a related field preferred
- 1 years of experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Flexibility to work part-time and full-time schedules, including evenings and weekends
