RISCO Power specializes in the design, planning, and installation of energy generation and storage infrastructure tailored for residential and commercial applications. We help hundreds of homeowners every year lower their bills, and protect against power outages. We bring power generation closer to the place they use it, allowing users to bypass antiquated grid infrastructure and lengthy permitting queues. Our mission is to decrease the cost of producing and consuming electricity while also creating resiliency in the energy systems we seek to improve. In addition to core services, we offer a range of ancillary services to support growth of renewables & electrification.

Role Description

Are you a focused and motivated individual looking to break into the fast-growing home energy industry? As a Field Marketing Professional, you will be at the forefront of our customer acquisition efforts, playing a crucial role in educating homeowners about the benefits of solar, batteries, and generators. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting potential customers, conducting outreach through door-to-door canvassing, and engaging with leads in various professional settings to set sales appointments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a people-focused environment and enjoy the challenge of initiating conversations that lead to impactful solutions, and lucrative outcomes. This role is designed to grow into a sales & product design role.


In this role, you will develop strong sales and communication skills by actively engaging with potential clients, learning how to identify their energy needs, and explaining how our products can help their situation. Through hands-on experience, you will gain valuable sales training, enhance your ability to handle objections, and build confidence in your ability to generate interest in a cutting-edge industry. Whether you’re meeting homeowners in their neighborhoods, attending community events, or utilizing digital outreach strategies, your efforts will directly contribute to the company’s growth while providing you with a foundation in both sales and the solar sector.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to thrive in a self-managed, autonomous work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new processes quickly.
  • Interest in sustainability and renewable energy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Door-door canvassing and engaging with homeowners to generate leads.
  • Collecting contact information for each lead and appointment
  • Identify potential customers interested in home energy solutions.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule for outreach.
  • Record leads and relevant notes in App and scheduling platform
  • Networking and pursuing existing and/or potential connections that may result in a project


Compensation Structure:

  • Base Commission (per appointment & closed deal)
  • Pay is directly related to performance in this role


Estimated Compensation

  • $60k - $110k / year

Salary : $60,000 - $110,000
