Litigation Paralegal – Family Law
Collin County, TX (In-Office, 5 Days/Week)
We are working with a well-established family law firm in Collin County seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes ownership of their work while supporting attorneys at a high level.
What You’ll Do
- Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery requests/responses, briefs, affidavits, and sworn inventories
- Prepare trial and hearing binders, exhibits, and supporting materials
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and discovery indexes (both electronic and paper)
- Manage attorney calendars, including court settings, deadlines, and meetings
- E-file court documents and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in case preparation, including summarizing transcripts, gathering facts, and conducting research
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties
- Coordinate logistics for hearings, trials, and case-related activities
- Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents such as subpoenas and pretrial agreements
What They’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Family law experience strongly preferred; civil litigation backgrounds also considered
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Comfortable working closely with attorneys and acting as a gatekeeper
- Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starter mindset
- Strong communication skills and client-facing professionalism
